Deciding when to order your favours can be tricky.

6 months before your wedding
Start your favour shopping now! At this point, you would probably already have in mind your wedding theme, and this will be a great time to start looking at the options available. While you do not need to make a decision just yet, you could shortlist and bookmark your favourite favour items.

3 months before your wedding

At this point, you should already have started your wedding invitation preparation and planning. You would also already have on-hand a guest list. With this you would be able to fairly accurately estimate the number of wedding favours your require. (Please check out our section on Favour Order Quantities if you need some tips on this). Once you have worked out the quantites, it’s time to place the orders.

Most wedding favour vendors (us included!) will require approximately 6-8 weeks to get your favours ready for you. But an additional 1 month may be required if your favour packaging should be more intricate or if it is a peak period of the year. In any case, it is always better to have it all ready earlier than stress over these details closer to your wedding date!
